Plan C - Is it worth it?
It's certainly no Ice Breaker, but I wanted to weigh in on everyone's opinion of the fusion rifle Xur has to offer this week.
Edit: I've been convinced. I'm going to purchase Plan C from Xur. Please feel free to continue discussing it's merits ( or lack thereof ) below.

Plan C is the best PvP fusion rifle hands down, its fun to use if you use it properly and it can wreck people. As for PvE its good to take out arc shields in one hit but besides that is probably on par with some other fusions.

Edited by Hangz: 2/6/2015 9:03:23 PMI find every primary slot a waste for an exotic since all raid weapons are better, to me and I don't have gjallarhorn so it's either ice breaker or anything else in special weapons. I like the Plan C but didn't have it 2.0 yet so I went ahead and bought it. Only other exotic I'll use is red death because it's freaking amazing and it's going to get buffed. Besides that's it always an exotic in special weapons. Ice breaker or the 4th horseman because it's a freakin fun gun to use.

You'd be a fool to not buy it. Also, when you switch to it from your primary it will fire on a dime; it's one of its perks. I couldn't tell you how many times that saved my ass.

Plan C is great for those "Oh sh-" moments (hence its name) thanks to the instantaneous charge shot after swapping to it. Keep in mind, though, that the effect only occurs every few seconds. Accelerated Coils gives it a ridiculously short charge time if you plan on using it more often. That said, if you plan on using a fusion rifle more often than not without the one-exotic-weapon rule, then perhaps look to Light of the Abyss or another fusion rifle with a fast charge and decent perks.

5 RepliesIcebreaker would be the only special weapon exotic I would use. The raid legendaries have great perks. Plus LDR (legendary sniper) shoots through walls

I love plan c! The range is pretty damn good and its pretty stable. Def worth the coins in my opinion. I don't play crucible really so I can speak to its effectiveness against guardians though. :)

Murmur or any other fusion rifle is better, Plan C doesn't have anything worthy to be in an exotic slot.
