I would give anything to get my VOG armors light level up. If I could look slightly unique as a lvl32 character it would be great!! I honestly think the crota raid armor looks pretty ugly to begin with, other than the helmets. Even if VOG armor caps out at 33 light level, I'd be happier than having useless armor that looks cool. Only reason I even do VOG anymore is for the exotic chance.

1 ReplyThis is possible...however it could be testing for the developers for new content/raids, upgrading they're level so they could test HoW content. I may be wrong though, maybe they will be upgrading VoG gear. If they are upgrading it, I hope it is where they make VoG a harder difficulty and the armor dropped from there gives you this, and I hope they do the same with Crota gear, this will TRULY add customization to the game, so not [i]every max level character looks the same...[/i]

Very simple to understand here... the new raid armor/exotics are not currently in the game so they are more than likely just using those are PLACE HOLDERS to test things out. Notice how they have hardly played anything. Stop freaking out and hyping people up for disappointment. Deej made the same comment about the "leaked" vanguard armor that they are just placeholders set there until the update is loaded with the correct information.

It's just placeholder gear. Why would the update the old Dustwalker helm to light 42? It wasn't even from the Vault.

4 RepliesHA. Not true (or at least unconfirmed), this is just a placeholder for the next batch of gear. Also, look at the games he has played. He obviously isnt a player, or a tester, because he has less than 1 kill.

"confirmed" you keep using that word and i don't think you know what it means... just because some testers/bungie-employees have higher-level stuff doesn't mean it's offical, heck they might just get placeholders so they can test out higherlevel stuff without actualy needing new HoW gear

They might upgrade pasts raids for people who buy the DLC. So VoG is up to date with the new raids

2 RepliesI doubt it. I think it's just one of those beta things like the necro pic of it with 367 dmg. Realistically why would they have upgraded VoG armor when the VoG raid armor is irrelevant now, unless they up the overall level of the raid as well then I could see a need for an upgrade

Nothing is confirmed until we have word from Bungie this could just be a tester raising their light level on whatever armor they have equipped to test something. Also, not to be a kill joy, by I'm pretty sure that Bond is one of the one's that's in the Speaker's rotation of items.
