Imagine that your greatest fear was to become a super power for you. What would it be, and what would you do with it?
Example: Fear of heights means you can fly/never die from a fall.
Death is an assumed fear for everyone, for the most part, so go to your next greatest fear.
Feel free to think about it deeply. You have your fear, and now it is some sort of power. What is that power? Think....
Here are some common ones:
Claustrophobia/fear of big rooms- Spacial control over the 3rd dimension? Size of objects becomes a matter of your will, and so you can, essentially, create or destroy matter by altering size AND density.
Relationship problems- You have ultimate control over how people interact. Basically mind control, but only in social terms.
Failure- You will always be right, and you will never fail. Even if that means 1+1=3 when you say it, you will never fail.

Ok, I'm taking my fear of heights even farther, I rule the skies, you want to fly in an airplane? Gotta check with me first, and I could prevent plane crashes. I would be amazing, and I could finally make a flying chair for me to sit in while flying. And I would be a great asset for the military, I could be the guy who makes sure everyone has a standard-issue flying chair, AND FOR A LIMITED TIME, 8, AND I SAID 8 CUPHOLDERS!. We'd win every war, every time.
