Well, after I get out of active duty US Army, I am going to attend college. The only problem is, I'm not entirely sure which career I want to choose. I want a laid back and fun career that pays well and that I can actually enjoy. And Game design is looking like that career. What is the average salary of an entry level designer? And how does it progress with years of experience?
And how many years of College do you need and what should you major in?
Posted by: flippinrite I'm aware that it's not laid back, I was comparing it to some other jobs. Like working in a bank, for example. The people in Game design are more relaxed and less serious than those in some other fields.
I wouldnt think that way, anything with a deadline is not a laid back job. The personalities may be slightly more your thing but at the end of the day they still have a job to do, and a finished game to sell.
