I'm against trading but this is a step in the right direction if you want trading. Very good suggestion.

Trading is retarded and for those who have no patience or have never played a game style such as this...trading would deplete character leveling, weapon leveling, everyone would cry about crucible containing only Ghallajorn and vex mythocasts, all level difficulty would have to be insanely hard to even have some type of challenge, game replay value would decrease for you buy the game and go right to a trade location and max out. No surprise factor to the game. So, all the selfish spoiled kids under 17, shut the F uck up about a trade system please.

Exotic = exotic or 2 to 3 legendaries

There should be a fee as in you have to pay to trade i.e. Glimmer, marks, strange coins, consumables, and not jus a small amount...a fairly hefty price for trading but taking damage off the weapon? I mean yea sure you can wish for that but that will never happen or even be considered being that bungie is walking a very tight rope with all of their weapon fixes. Also, any kind of trading wheather it be your idea or Someone else is not gonna make the game any easier or harder. My buddy bought the game last week and this past weekend I ran him through every mission and strike( that took about 3 hours) then played some crucible till he hit level 20(that took 1 hour) than ran him through vanguard strikes until he got high enough gear to hit 26( that took two hours). Then ran him through vog so he could get atleast one piece of armor so he could be level 27( that took 10 min because he got a drop at the conflux). Then I ran him through the entire crota raid on normal which took about 35 min and jus for clarification I did have my team with me helping me except for the story mode portion. Didn't want yall thinking I was trolling by saying I soloed two raids with a newbie. Anyways his lucky ass pulled everything except for the helmet as far as gear from Crotas end. He hadn't done the weekly or night fall so I carried his ass through that and wouldn't you know it, he got an exotic helmet. So in a little under 8 hours give or take I got his ass to level 31...annnnd he just started playing. So tell me how would trading possibly be unfair or break the game or put people at an advantage or leave people at a disadvantage regardless of your idea of how trading should be when me and 4 other friends took someone to level 31 in less than half a day? Yea trading or no trading the game is what it is(easy) and I basically proved to my buddy that he wasted his money, because after we were done he asked me"what am I supposed to do now" I replied with" hell idk....make a different character and do it again I guess, trust me nothing changes except for your characters face".

Cause they know I'm a loyal, faithful, hopeful, non-ranting fan who sticks by them thru the bad and enjoys the good.....unlike yal Divas who turn on them on a daily basis

That comes down to screening. Hell, i finally received enough pieces of armor (combined with my exotic helmet) to reach 32, but once i level my gear up i will still have not run the hard raid. I know how to, and have even escorted lower levels through normal mode, but i imagine my first time through hard wont be pretty. People need to be tollerant, and understand everyone has to learn sometime. Thats a little off topic, but it ties in with your "fake" 32's. If a friend trades his extra ce gear to his new lvl 21 buddy then sends him out into the world, then he'll get destroyed by people who dont want to give him a chance. You need experience before you hit that high of level.

I don't think a price should be paid. I think if they find a way to make sure exotics can only be traded for exotics, and no one can duplicate weapons, and no one can sell items for real-world money, then the trade system would be fine.
