It's a sign of maturity, or lack thereof. I can't imagine that an actual adult would get off on this type of juvenile behavior in a video game played by people of all ages. I can't see a mature adult getting off tea bagging other adults and I can't see an adult getting off tea bagging 12 year old kids, because that seems kind of pathetic to me. So I have to conclude that the only people who tea bag are immature morons who still have a lot of growing up to do. Knowing that to be true, nobody should allow the actions of a moron to affect their mood or enjoyment of the game. If you get tea bagged, simply look at the screen, mutter 'poor moron' to the offender, and play on unaffected. Letting them rile you empowers them. Don't take the bait. They're just idiots. One day they will grow out of it.

You describe people who engage in repeatedly crouching and standing over another person's blue orb as 'moronic' and 'immature'. You then manifested a scenario (in your own mind I might add) where someone is engaging in this activity with a 12 year old!? For someone who believe that they are an adult and are 'above all this nonsense', you fail to understand that your notions are indicative of a lack of emotional development and in themselves are a sign of immaturity. If you are offended by this then you do still have some growing up to do. You're obviously deeply affected by what is clearly a light-hearted prank, which let us not forget, takes place in a make-believe land where you run around shooting aliens. Life is far too short to get hung up on the little things my friend.

Like I said when someone does it to me I take it with a piece of salt and get on with the game, it's not something I take seriously in game. When people then start chatting about it I find it a little immature. So my reference to real life was just comparing it to a scenario and maybe not an ideal analogy. I get that's it's a game and get that it's just people messing about.
