you must be signed into xbox live error?

I am signed into xbox live and can use other apps. Why is it coming up telling me I'm not signed in???

    • It's all of our faults. Bungie is flawless. Check your connection, reset your Xbox, reset your modem. We are all obviously doing something wrong because bungie will not take the blame for anything sucking ass. They put out an awesome game but crap all over their customers daily then they blame it all on us. Bungie is a sorry company.

      • Had the same issue the other day, Destiny kept disconnecting my whole Xbox from the network somehow. Everything else worked fine. Had to uninstall and reinstall and now it works fine.

        • Go to Settings then Disc & Blu-ray. Go into Persistent Storage and select Clear. Then go back to settings again, Select Network > Advance Settings > Alternate Mac Address > select Clear. Then restart the console.

        • I just updated Destiny and my NAT type immediately changed from open to strict. I can't join parties anymore and every time I launch destiny, I get the centipede error code at the title screen. I can't even go into character select. Wtf do I do?

        • Last night I had this happen... Pull the power cord from the Xbox... Leave unplugged for a couple minutes then plug back in... Should work!

        • When this occurs, if I manually close the Destiny game, it usually fixes it. Go to the Xbox main menu, hit select on Destiny, then quit. Reselect the game, and you should be good to go.

          • This worked for me. Sign out of xbl. Fire up destiny and sign in when the game prompts you.

              Started a new topic: x box telling me I'm not signed in. won't let me run strikes or weekly's. has anyone found a solution to this problem yet???!!

            • I get the update for destiny but it stops on the middle of the install and gives me error code: wasp

                having the same issue, have even tried the suggestion of clearing blu ray, mac ip, and restarting the console. have tried everything, even uninstalling (not reccomemded unless you wanna beat your head off a wall) and reinstalling the game and still have the lock signs over strikes and the weekly's. this is becoming very irritating. Bungie deserves a swift kick to the nuts on this one

                Getting the same f'ing re-update download... that is great but when are they gonna fix that "beauty"? Why is it NOT actually saving? Any word BUNGHOLiE?...

                  I have a feeling that its related to the Battlefield Hardline Beta. Everyone here that is having this connection issue, have you installed the BFH beta? EDIT: Got the 'updates' and now I am getting error code WASP. Still nothing for me.
