Whoa! Look at all that pretty armor! What could it all mean?
I know that rampant speculation will burn for a while on this topic. As you enjoy a conversation about the pearls of information that can be lifted from this, please bear a few things in mind...
1. Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the House of Wolves. That means that anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves.
2. We reserve the right to overwrite anything you're looking at right now. These placeholder items enable us to save room on your drive for actual future updates. You'll all download them before it's time to play.
3. Any stats or assumptions about power or impact or handsomeness are months old, and do not reflect the things that we're doing to adapt to what you've taught us about Destiny. There is a process here, and you're a part of it.
Leaks are fun. I totally get it. Please discuss to your heart's content. All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not necessarily the wolves you're looking for.
DeeJ, out.

The armor looks so cool tho! I don't want it to be placeholders :(!
-
Is it deej or dee-j?
-
I love this game and im a big fan of bungie but you can guarantee in 3 months with no new content you are going to lose half the community if not more. Its a big shame.
-
The fact that you added "not necessarily" to "these are not the wolves you are looking for" says it all sir. That's smoke and mirrors at its finest. I expect most of these ghosts to be the real article when HoW launches. The changes Bungie might be implementing due to "what we have taught them" will be quite small I'm sure. I'm not a Bungie hater and I'm enjoying Destiny.. I just don't like how Bungie misleads their fans of late about what they are up to.
-
3 months until we have new content? if you want us to continue play this game and purchase future content. I suggest in march you give us... 1. New Bounties 2. come up with a system to reforge legendary weapons. 3. release VOG lvl 32. and you can go back and grind for all your 331 VOG weapons and 32 gear.
-
Didn't someone from Bungie say that the next vendor gear won't make raid gear obsolete this time around? I hope so.
-
Yeah, Luke Smith said that very recently.
-
Probably on par though.
-
Thanks for the quick response Deej
-
May is waaaayyyy too long. The March date that was originally speculated would be perfect. There is no way I can grind for another 3-4 months with the current amount of content. There just isn't enough variety to keep me going.
-
So the second DLC isn't dropping until May? After the embarrassing lack of content that came with the first one, does Bungie really think that people are going to keep grinding the same old shit for 3 more months? If this is true, it's indefensible...
-
If half the stuff is true Deej then it looks good, I don't have any problem with the amount for dlc or the content as if its new I'll play it. My main concern is that if it is May you will be too late unless you have something else to keep us interested. Lots of good games coming this year so if advise announcing something soon before everyone starts playing other stuff.

Man we need more SPACE in the vault... Could you comment on that? Please and thanks!

Keep dreaming pal, we're working on it -Deej

-
I know one thing, I really don't think I will be waiting around until may hell it will be hard to hang around til march. but may release c'mon.
-
D3eJ, everything you said is a given, brah. Now please tell Xur to sell pit bull puppies.

When deej responds it means one thing... The pics your seeing are real and he's just trying to cover up a mistake made by an employee ha
-
He literally just warned you about hyping these images up. Don't come back and bitch that they lied to you when these items don't make it to the live game.
-
Um... leaks are now commonplace. Some companies don't even respond anymore.
-
I see the response as more of an attempt at damage control.
-
You would like to believe that wouldnt you?
