Whoa! Look at all that pretty armor! What could it all mean? I know that rampant speculation will burn for a while on this topic. As you enjoy a conversation about the pearls of information that can be lifted from this, please bear a few things in mind... 1. Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the House of Wolves. That means that anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves. 2. We reserve the right to overwrite anything you're looking at right now. These placeholder items enable us to save room on your drive for actual future updates. You'll all download them before it's time to play. 3. Any stats or assumptions about power or impact or handsomeness are months old, and do not reflect the things that we're doing to adapt to what you've taught us about Destiny. There is a process here, and you're a part of it. Leaks are fun. I totally get it. Please discuss to your heart's content. All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not necessarily the wolves you're looking for. DeeJ, out.

  • Yeah, I feel the same. He made the same insinuations for Dark Below. The problem is, he is roundabout beating around the bush kinda sorta insinuating that the final content will be better than what has been leaked. Even though he's not saying that directly, as a community manager his job is to anticipate how his words can be interpreted. If HoW comes out and the content turns out to be the same as the leak, people are going to be pissed and disappointed and he won't have anyone to blame but himself. This isn't a critique on David as a person but if he's going to drop hints and be cryptic like that, he needs to do it about all of the items the community has been clamoring about instead of just saying we hear you. Or, be equally silent for all items until they are ready to announce officially and formally. I've been a long time supporter of Bungie and Destiny and Deej, lately I've been scratching my head at the way he's been operating though. I get the sense he is taking the community's griefing personally and is now being intentionally obtuse/antagonistic in what he talks about and how he talks about it, almost like he's pushing buttons. His words say he is with the community, but the tone and content of everything else are seeming to lean away from that.

I could tell you of all the content that was held back, I could tell you about all of the gear you may or may not get. But now the gamers are just scared.

  • DeeJ essentially confirmed our suspicions. This isn't DLC. It's Disk Locked Content. Parts of the game were locked away on our discs so they could sell it to us later. Had Activi$ion not butchered this game, it might have not been so empty.

  • Its not disc-locked. They just put in place-holders in our game so that when they impliment their new updates its easier for them. If you dont understand the process dont make accusations, I doubt youll evwn understand what I just said.

  • I think I understand what you mean, but bare with me. So, by them doing this, they basically created parts of the blueprints of HOW. And this will allow them to mold it into any shape they want, and easily. It will also allow them to release the content quicker to us, the players. Meaning - bungie basically finished 25% of the DLC early on, but the parts they finished were the difficult parts, and the rest of the work needed is basically to just fill in the blanks?

  • Bungie chopped and screwed this game... the only thing activision did was make the deadline. I should say i dont play activision games because i dont enjoy dumbed down gameplay. But the real problem is Bungie is no longer Bungie we all know and love, it is now Bungivision.

  • Whoa! Look at DeeJ's reaction to leaked content from a 500 million dollar budget and over 4 years of development! What could this sudden response mean? I know you read these forums and feel all kinds of emotions from the happy, supporting, constructive, saddening, trolling replies that spread through these forums like wildfire throughout the day, but please keep a few things in mind... 1. The company you work for is holding back an abundance of incredibly diversifying types of gameplay and strategy to make a more challenging game for a large sum of Bungie fans. That means you should have enough respect for your fans to admit you screwed this game up and many of the original ideas, even the ones as far out as moon tigers, should of been more carefully considered. You have an incredibly talented and coherent staff to make serious changes this game needs, starting with responsibly responsive feedback from YOU! 2. You reserve the right to admit that some weren't confident with the release of this game and the tough choice of chopping it up into bits to sell for money may have been exaggerated on a literal level. My small amount of money per DLC continuation doesn't add up to the amount paying for it and if I could get my money back, I would. I'm willing to bet that there is nearly the same amount of "placeholders" as actual and current content. 3. Anytime you want to stand up to whoever needs to be stood up to when it comes to bringing in major and radical changes for the sake of the prosperity of your game, please, please, do so. There is a long and difficult list of things this game needs to accomplish like... - More challenging raids, strikes, missions and patrols. (Example; Optional areas in missions that require full fireteams to contend with higher level mobs and one, two extra bosses that cannot be soloed easily) - Faction wars and ideas on how players can get involved with each vendor. (Example; Option to select patrol on each planet and choose to participate in separate server matchmaking where players can attack players to contend for territory or run flags to bases. Limitations would be necessary.) - Fix bugs more bugs and continue working on and fixing bugs - More vault space BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, it would make a huge positive impact on your fans if it was given to us for free, don't use "vault space" as a reason to say your DLC had weight. - Feedback from you or others that may need to be promoted to help you. We deserve to know in abundance what direction you're taking this game if you're going to charge us for it. How unreasonable can it be to do something like Blizzard and have daily questions and concerns responded to? This is all suppose to be a great hobby to enjoy and many are obviously enjoying it as it sits, I get it, who cares about what little ol' me says on some internet forum. There is a process to making a singular game of its generation but a little over 3 million people on a game isn't a big deal when you're considering WoW has had over 100 million people sign up and try their game. Please most of all, just stop with the super fake attitude that this game is great and wonderfully peachy as it is. You have no idea how many people are going to be moving on from this game after HoW if dramatic changes are not made. I hope for the sake of this games flawless FPS mechanics and detail that you strongly consider thinking outside of the box now more than ever. Not so casual nobody, out.

  • Oh yes ... Maybe they even know they are screwed so they decided hey this game is done and it's not getting any better ... So why try? Let's just squeeze out as much as possible until It crashes and burns.... Which like you said If how is garbage so is the place where destiny will be in my house
