Tried NF once today, died on Archon Priest, gave up. No desire to repeat same missions over and over anymore.
The team of randoms i joined just got killed at the very end of the NF, and the idea of starting the whole strike over again made my skin crawl, so I turned it off and started playing something else. I don't think I'm the only Guardian that feels this way. I'm seeing more and more friends who were playing this all the time at and after launch, and now are going back to games with more replay value like Skyrim, GTAV, etc. Every time I think of what I'll do when I sign on to Destiny, nothing original comes to mind because there's nothing new in the game world to do. No random generated or varied missions, no real hidden goodies to uncover, just the same things we saw our first few days in the game (and first few days after expansion release) over and over with different difficulties/modifiers. I understand we will see more content as more expansions come out, but I'm starting to worry that if I buy the next expansion pass, my dollar will just be going towards more gameplay that will become stale again after just a few weeks. This is still the best FPS game I've ever played, beautiful controls, graphics, aesthetic and design in general, but the PVE gameplay needs something to keep it fresh. Just trying to give actual feedback, not trying to be a negative jerk. Crucible is still awesome, clearly, I'm not a huge PvP player but I love Control.

It's called "burn out" There's an old saying, "One night of your favorite food is a treat. A YEAR of your faviorite food every night is sheer torture." No developer can crank out enough content to supply an endless stream of "new" things to do, when players are playing this game for three hours a day....every day. At some point---as a PvE player---it is YOUR responsibility to find new ways to challenge yourself with the existing material. Make new characters. Play as different sub-classes. Switch your gear around so that you have a different array of abilities. Stop playing strikes all the time, and try playing patrol-and-pub events. Or--if you have difficulty being creative in your play----go play PvP and lot other players do that for you. If that's not enough. Take a break from the game. But Bungie can't afford to pump out an endless stream of content based on the $80 you've put into the game at this point. That is why so many MMOs charge monthly sub fees. But then console gamers have fought having to do that tooth-and-nail.

2 RepliesI preordered Evolve today. It's weird because I know that game is bound to be [i]extremely[/i] repetitive... Just like Left4Dead was. But there was just something about those games that I loved so much. Couldn't stop playing them even though it was the same thing over and over. Destiny doesn't do that for me though. I've also moved on.

You can bet your ass off that HoW is going to be the same and TDB. Then they are going to lose ALOT of their player base. I wouldn't be playing right now if I hadn't bought the season pass

2 RepliesAlright, you guys have fun bragging about who can beat the nightfall faster I don't care how hard it is, never did, I'm sick of looking at the same missions regardless of difficulty. Its really not that hard to understand. Never wanted to turn off notifications on this app until now. That's what I get for having an opinion.

But, alas, find myself wishing for more content. I think the hardest part of this game is waiting for all the dlcs. I will continue playing though for I have hope that Destiny 2 will be a bigger, better game. If it isn't, then I'll be forced to commit my life to trolling Bungie... One staff member at a time. [spoiler]I beat it 3 times in 30 minutes... Mainly because my power level is over 9000.[/spoiler]

4 RepliesOf all the nf missions I've run I've wiped 3 times since I stared doing them back when I was lvl 28 a few weeks post launch and I've always done it with randoms from the forum. And I hate to say it but this entire post. Was made because you wiped on a strike with in the endless times I've run it, no glitches. This post is because you aren't good and switched games because you rage quit. While your second part of your argument is right, the game lacks replayable things. I hate to be that guy but you really are just switching because you yourself are not good at Destiny. Plain and simple/ for you at least.

4 RepliesNF with two randoms? How'd you manage that? Anyway this post sounds like some major sour grapes. Getting kicked to orbit is what NF is all about should you let yourself get killed. I know I died earlier today and the kid I was with also bit the dust so we ran through it again and the second time I was a bit more mindful of my surroundings and when I took some damage backed off a bit till my health returned to full. I can't speak to your Friends List, but I can to mine and as I wrote yesterday, my Friends List always had between 20-30+ people playing Destiny this past weekend.

This week was one of the easiest nightfalls yet... Triple burn means you can use any gun you desire. Gjallarhorn roasts the archon in like 8-9 shots

NF start to finsh 17 mins, just make sure your team has a good selection of elemental weapons, and plently of heavy ammo synth.

Yeah - only attempt these in pairs at the least. It's frustrating but takes the sting away if doing with more people. The burn is important as well. Take weapons to destroy the shields and the burn weapon.

NF was laughably easy this week, beat it 3 times with a friend in maybe 25 min, total

Checkpoints would create a more relaxed yet still challenging atmosphere. I'm for it. Checkpoints would actually make soloing it fun I think.

2 RepliesYeah I thin kthia game just isn't for you. Did the nightfall 4 times 4th to just help someone in need. We ran through all of them pretty easily. Even on a couple wipes we made back to the same spot pretty quickly. Just gotta know the vantage points and have good team communication..

It literally takes 15-20 minutes each time to get to the Archon Priest. It then takes about 3 minutes ( if everyone has gjallahorn it takes less) to kill him.
