what is the best LEGENDARY sniper rifle?
I really need a better sniper because my rare sniper is only 224 attack

13 RepliesBlack hammer is defiantly your best choice. Higher impact than IB. But if you aren't waiting for drops them I would recommend the LDR from the vanguard vendor.

This is my personal opinion: Best PVP snipers: 1) Efrideet's Spear with armor piercing rounds and final round roll. 2) High-stability snipers such as Praedyth's Revenge or Patience and Time 3) Any other sniper with decent stability and armor-piercing rounds Best PVE snipers: 1) Black Hammer 2) Ice Breaker 3) Any other sniper with decent impact and stability, perhaps firefly ability

The LDR5001 from vanguard can match ice breaker in damage (comes close) other than that if you're good at precision hits try to get black hammer from crota

1 ReplyThe best without waiting on a drop or from raids/nightfalls is the LDR 5001. It is from the vanguard vendor by the shipwright. Use it all the time it has armor penetration. I was in Crota and shot a boomer in the head and the one behind took damage too. They were lined up perfectly. Outside of that...im looking forward to the black hammer.

If you're great at aiming, the Black Hammer's the best choice. Highest DPS in the game.

Both the crucible and vanguard sniper rifles are pretty good.
