what is the best LEGENDARY sniper rifle?
I really need a better sniper because my rare sniper is only 224 attack

1 ReplyPraedyths Revenge is just awesome, maximum stability, fast reload, fast fire rate, the only thing it lacks is impact, I only use it when there's void burn or occasionally in VOG, I have basically all other good snipers and this is my Fav but I don't use it much because of the low impact, it's my go to sniper for PVP though

Edited by Samurai Stewie: 2/5/2015 6:48:26 PMI have three badass legendary sniper rifles, one in each element: Black Hammer (Solar) - As long as you land crits you have infinite ammo for this high stability, high range, decent impact sniper rifle. LDR5001 (Arc) - if you are lucky enough to get blessed by the RNG gods, you'll get one like mine. It's arc, with performance bonus, field scout, and firefly. A firefly explosion procs performance bonus, so sometimes I get two or three free rounds added to reserve for a single precision kill. Efrideet's Spear (Void) - Another way to get a sweet sniper rifle is Iron Banner. This beast can be reforged, which means that you can re-roll the element and upgrades at the cost of two useless motes of light. I reforged until I got a void one with surplus, field scout, and final round. The rifle normally has only 3 rounds, so field scout is necessary. Surplus and field scout also play well together, and with its insane impact, final round does unbelievable damage.

I don't have Black Hammer but my LDR is pretty sweet. That Dead Orbit one was pretty sweet too. But, LDR gets my vote

I got a great longbow synthesis one from a drop that has firefly.. but of the ones you can buy, agree with those who say LDR... love it. Decent damage, armour piercing.

If anyone says anything that's not black hammer or Efrideets spear... They're wrong. Plain and simple

LDR 5001 hands down. The Black Hammer is a close 2nd 3rd, I'd say the y-09 longbow synthesis

I have a Prudence II and I love it. Void damage with spray and play along with firefly.

Longbow Synthesis, LDR, Efrideets Spear, and Black Hammer will all do fine. For PvP, I would say Praedyth's Revenge! That things is a tank.

1 ReplyI got my LDR with over penetrate and its arc, also got the Longbow with over perpetrate and its void. Those are my two beasts, always shooting through walls

Black Hammer. One of its perks is landing 3 precision shots quickly refills the magazine. I don't have this, but have seen it in action. It is very impressive. If you do successfully chain the precision shots it is better than Ice Breaker.
