The chance of you actually getting Gjallarhorn from the nightfall would be really slim.

Last week the nightfall rewards for my fireteam was gally, thunderlord, gally. I was in the middle and stoked. Thunderlord is my gally.

So my buddy and I were doing the phogoth nightfall last time it was available. We both got Gjallarhorn at the end. Then we both sharded it because we already have it because we roll the dice the appropriate amount of times. Have video proof if ya want.
