Mine would have to be Super Mario on the original Gameboy. I loved that game to death and I really miss it now ;-;

1 ReplyI was rather fond of the Turbo Graphix 16. Although it basically only had exclusives (which were mostly clones of other game franchises), with a few exceptions. Quite of few of those games were good, but if you wanted to play any popular franchise, you had to get a Nintendo or Sega system. After getting a SNES in '91, I really never looked back. It was leagues beyond the TG-16 and Genesis. I didn't do much console gaming for several years after about 1994, in fact I didn't buy another console until around 1997. I picked up the PS1 for FF VII and MGS. So, for sheer hours played, the SNES was probably my all time favorite console of my youth. It always feels weird to talk about when I was young. The '90s seemed like this vast era of my life, where multiple epochs of time existed. I bought my PS3 in 2008 and the 8 years I played it until I got my PS4 seem like a drop in the bucket. But the 3 years I played my SNES actively seemed like forever... I would say the same for the previous consoles I had (most of which overlapped).

2 RepliesHad a 3DO, which had an arcade perfect version of Samurai Showdown, and an FPS called Killing Time that I really liked. Also had an Atari Jaguar, The original Rayman and Alien Vs Predator were sweet games. Even had the virtual boy, which despite being generally awful, had Teleroboxer, Red Alarm, mario tennis, Galaxy pinball, warioland 3D... Come to think of it, VB had a lot of fun games. My neck still hurts thinking about them.

1 ReplyIt was a rollerblading game on the original Xbox, I would play it everyday after school. I don't remember the name of it though :,( It was super cool, you could rollerblade almost around whole cities and spray graffiti on stuff (appropriate graffiti) and stuff. Miss it...
