Honestly, unless Halo 4 is amazingly awesome, I can't see any reason to recommend the 720 to anyone. PS3 has action adventure on a lock, it has better fighters, it has exclusive shooters, and now it has smash brothers, the only thing really keeping Nintendo in the race in my eyes.

That doesn't mean you get to dismiss all the acclaim just because you played the game(s) and didn't have fun. I find Resistance boring and generic but it's still not horrible.
