Bungie, the look of all of the new Exotic weapons are amor piece is AMAZING!! I love it but the stats and perks are just horrible.

1 Replylately the trend has been weapons that look awesome but have serious drawbacks in the expansions. All looks, no substance sadly. Expansion I featured: Dragons Breath: absolutely brilliant design with the smoke coming out of the mouth a nice touch. In the end it's an average launcher at best with a decent solar flare perk that's handicapped by terrible velocity. No Land Beyond: Another 'classic' design of a bolt action sniper that is reminiscent of the old days. Considered one of the worst exotics in the game sadly. While the perk is neat that you can have it in your primary and there is some reward for precision shots, the low ammo and slow reload really makes this weapon only for hobbyists. 4th Horseman: A beautiful 4 barrel shotgun with amazing steampunk design. Truly a slick looking weapon. While it features auto fire and arc damage, sadly this shotguns perks can't save it from an absolutely terrible range that requires you to practically hug your target. Nechrocasm: I can't speak for it as I only have it's 2nd level Ally, but the feedback I've heard that the effort put into it isn't worth it. The ammo runs out too fast and impact is a big handicap. None of the last expansions weapons come close to the initial exotic release. I fear the same will be said for HoW.

I have a feeling perks and exotic perk will gwt reworked by the time this releases in March. I read somewhere recently it's supposed to be a shrapnel launcher which would be dope, however not as an exotic. Enemy weapons should already be in the game imo. Not as exotics or legendaries but under a different category and obtainable by bounties/quests.

Shotguns work well on defenders who hold down choke points. If they weren't nerfed to all hell they would be more viable.
