So what's the deal with dismantling? I only ever dismantle purple weapons or armor after I've unlocked all the upgrade slots, and I generally do this by equipping the items when handing in bounties... I don't 'fill' the slots usually, just unlock them. So, sometimes this ends up giving me 5 or 6 ascendant materials when I dismantle, but sometimes (and it seems that the last few times I've done this) I've only had 2 materials awarded. ...And sometimes I get no materials at all. So what's the rule here? Is there an article or post that explains how it works?
