Keep forgetting where Xur is in the tower? Have short term memory loss? Want to overcomplicate your Destiny experience? Just bored and looking for some fresh cheese? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this is the guide for you! After doing this cheese, Xur will have a semi-permanent exclamation point over his head, so you won't have to remember where he his for the rest of the weekend! All you need for this cheese is: 1) An exotic weapon bounty that requires you to purchase something from Xur. (I've only tested Super Good Advice, also not sure if things like Eris' urn works) 2) Insufficient funds for that purchase. (So if you need to use a strange coin, store all of them in the vault) 3) A friend in your fireteam to act as party leader. To do this cheese, follow these instructions step-by-step: 1) Reach the step in your bounty that requires you to buy a weapon part from Xur so that the exclamation point appears above his head. 2) Store your strange coins in the vault so you won't have enough to buy it from him, then locate him. 3) Open up his shop and keep it open. 4) Have your friend return to orbit ([i]as party leader[/i]) while you have his shop open still. 5) Go back to the tower ([i]alone or with your friend, doesn't matter[/i]). 6) Set two trap cards face-down ([i]optional step[/i]). 7) Withdraw your coins from the vault and return to Xur and open up his shop. 8) You can choose to turn in the bounty at this point or keep it, it doesn't matter. Turn in the bounty (or don't), and then press start without closing his shop and press change character. 9) Choose a DIFFERENT character and return to the tower. 10) Return to Xur. If you did the cheese correctly, Xur will have an exclamation point above him on this character, even if you don't have an objective for him. If so, you've successfully cheesed Xur and he will have that exclamation point above him on all of your characters for the rest of the weekend. X) Sign out of your profile while at the tower. This step is not necessary and actually serves no purpose, but cheeses sound much more cheesy when there is a disconnect somewhere in there. Edit: If you had your friend come with you in step 5 and completed the optional step 6, you can have your friend activate your 2 trap cards for you after you have left the tower for extra profits.
