Here are my additions:
1. A new engram. This would decrypt into shards/energy, motes, or strange coins. Legendary engrams would then be guaranteed to turn into a weapon, armor, or class item depending on the type of engram.
2. Virtual vault, at least for weapons. It's time consuming to go to the tower, put weapons into the vault, switch characters, go to the tower, to pass gear between characters. You should have access to any items provided your class can use them.
3. When switching characters, your new character should automatically spawn at your previous character's location.
4. More starting location options. Give us the choice of Orbit, Tower, or one of the patrols when we start the game. You could set it as a default.
5. The gunsmith is useless once you hit level 20. Let him have quests to get parts in order to obtain legendary guns from him. Allow us to take a weapon with solar damage and pay (not sure how much, or which currency) to have the elemental damage changed.
6. Factions should take Crucible and/or Vanguard marks.
7. A new consumable that allows your ghost to show you planet materials (spirit bloom, etc) and chest locations for a certain amount of time. This could drop randomly from enemies or even be purchased from a vendor.
8. When selecting patrol, you have a dropdown to select which area on the planet/moon you want to start. Ex..you'd rather start in the Divide instead of Steppes.
9. Allow us to split stacks of consumables. Allow us to designate how much relic iron to put into the vault, don't force us to put all of our relic iron in the vault.
10. Have the Vanguard gunsmith rotate his stock every two weeks. Two weeks sell the LDR-5001 arc, then void, then solar.
11. A way to easily check your vanguard, crytparch, eris, faction rep from within the game. Create a new tab so when you go to look at your players details you could see your rep levels. Maybe even move the bounties you have to that new tab.
12. A limited form of trading. This idea would be hard to exploit....When running the raid, armor that drops is not yet specific to class. It is just Raid Chest, Helm, Gauntlets, or Boots.
Once you defeat the final boss, before returning to orbit, members of the raid fireteam are permitted to trade anything obtained in that raid. It could even be limited to 1 trade person.
If you were a Titan and received a Black Hammer and you already had one, you could trade that new Black Hammer to a Warlock for their Chest armor. When you leave the raid it then becomes a Titan Chest. You would not be allowed to trade anything you obtained in another raid. Only items that were obtained in the raid you just ran.
You couldn't guarantee anything since you wouldn't know what you would receive going into a raid. If you want a Black Hammer you would have to hope that either you received it, or the person that did would be willing to trade it for one of the drops you received. The Black Hammer may not even drop at all so you couldn't guarantee someone a Black Hammer.
You would have to defeat the boss to participate in the trading. If you leave the raid early, you are stuck with whatever you received. If you join late, you could only trade what you received in the portions you participated in, provided you were there to defeat the final boss.
