No trading. Ever. I don't care how many guardians would willingly give their souls up to Sepiks Prime for it. Trading would ruin the game.

  • Agreed. No trading is a good thing. Trading would ruin this game more than the POS story and lazy weapon/armor/vehicle/mission design already ruin it. How about expanding the vault and putting the Grimoire into the damn game. This interview is pure trash, a non-representative interview which ignores what the Destiny community is actually saying

  • You are right, now People, including me keep playing to get the weapons they want. And when they Finaly drop its a feeling of acomplishment that i Finaly got iT.. Trading Will Totaly ruin the game cus with trading there is no reason to keep playing the content anymore... No trading pls.., if there was trading i would allready have all the weapons and i would not be playing destiny anymore..., now the tought of maybe getting a weapon that i still need to drop and Finaly obtain it is the main reason this game is so addictive, trading Will ruin it

  • Bungie wants us to continue playing the game. One way to ensure that we all stay playing the game is if their RNG is still in place. If trading were implemented, there would be no point in doing strikes, nightfalls or even the raid. If players could have access to the weapons they want simply by trading duplicates of the ones they already have, then they would gradually stop playing the game. I know I want a certain exotic weapon and I'll keep doing strikes and raid runs to obtain it. If I don't get it then I would wait for the next reset to obtain it (unless it's not an exclusive which xur could possibly sell). Trading just isn't in the games best interest. Play rates would gradually diminish only because players would eventually have all the weapons they once desired simply through trading a weapon.
