Positive and negative, honestly you came here looking for a reply from a public form I don't know what you were aiming for here, I'm not to say you did or didn't serve how can you trust anyone on here, but a word of advice if you came here seeking refuge or reassurance you may have come to the wrong place, I'm sure you have friends, and if you didn't you do now right? When you come here posting personal problems saying you have something like PTSD or any type of disorder you're bound to get flack and trolled for it. like I said I don't know if you servered everyone has different views on the military here I think that's been showen very well due to all of this, it shouldnt be that way but it is, some people have little or no respect for them or themselves it seems like. I wish you the best of luck with all of this though, I'm sure something good has come of it for you.

It is sad to realize that so many people will kick dirt in somebodies face. Whether it is your opinion or not it just makes you a pathetic human being. Appreciation is lacking in people, I for one don't plan on joining the armed forces because I'm not cut out for it. I don't know what you are going through, I don't want to, I hope things get better, and I thank you for your service. Just remember, you went above and beyond what other people do in the name of Freedom and country. Be proud and stand strong.

Fellow (Marine/Sailor/Soldier/Airman) here, sorry about your struggle brother...blah blah blah. Then I see you rage on people for calling you out. Calling everyone pog and fobbit...you're an angry attention whore. The threads title, video and contents just scream cheese. I would normally tell you that I feel your pain, keep up the fight, but youre acting like a spoiled bitch. "I have PTSD and buy you stuff, I should be able to neglect you" - to my knowledge, ptsd doesnt make you retarded. Grow up.

A relationship or marriage is far more important than video games. You are the one who needs to realize that. Yes you are allowed to have your hobbies, but 7 hours is a long time to ignore your significant other. Spend more time with her and a little less on the sticks.

Don't replace one addiction with another.. I'm a vet, 100% sc... I know your story, I lived it.. And am still living it. She only wants what's best for you, or at least I would hope she does. My wife stood by me during really rough times.. PTSD, addiction (multiple spats), severe depression, agoraphobia.. And things even worse. If she's stuck by your side during this kind of stuff she's a good woman.. Give her a break and remember that when you don't feel it, she feels it.

Well, I'm not reading all the posts because I'm lazy and not an analyst so sorry for any double sentiments here... You need to back up off the game. It'll still be there later. Family and friends (FF) come first. The game is a distraction and a way to pass time unconstuctively. Take care of your real life FF, they have, and are, putting up with your shit. Don't push 'em away because of some game which means nothing. The fact they're still with you and telling you there is a problem should tell you something. We all need a break and/or a distraction from time to time. It shouldn't become your mainstay activity. Connect back with people. While they can't understand what you've seen or done, and most ask stupid questions about it... at least they're there for you. Return the favor. [spoiler]10 years Army, multiple deployments and a combat vet myself. Civilians are stupid and they suck and they will never understand, but family and friends are what keep us grounded. Hold close those that care, don't bother with the ones that don't.[/spoiler]

research cannabis use for PTSD it helps wit night terrors and also probly the drinking. not to say ur lady isn't wrong for making u sleep on the couch but women give a lot when they get a little just remember that.

Has she served? Then she likely doesn't understand at all. Although it's possible she's wanting affection/attention and you are not seeing the signs while playing the game. Have you two tried couples counseling? It might be able to show you two both what's going on. I think that if you managed to stop drinking by playing destiny and drinking coffee? That - that is great.

I have to say that seeing all the douchenozzles here rip on the troops is pretty disturbing, and this is coming from one of those "commie pinkos" that voted for Obama. I never served in the military but I support the troops. If you assholes want to complain about the wars, or why we are fighting them, then you need to direct your anger at politicians, not soldiers. If all goes to hell, I for one would want the troops on our side and not on the side of corporate run tyranny.

Always put her first if she is more than just a girlfriend. I play almost all day but I quit anytime my fiancé wants to do anything with me. And if she doesn't then I will put it down myself and make sure I am giving her attention. Furthermore I have adamantly stated that she has my full support in selling Destiny and even the ps4 all together if she would like or I she feels like it is taking me from her. :) we love eachother and she is fully supportive of me.
