Warlock Sub-Class Questions for all you Veterans--Advice Needed
The Warlock is not my main character, but I do have him leveled up to 32 and both subclassed fully upgraded. Yes, I know how to equip self-rez, but the question I have is which loadouts are the best for both the Voidwalker and Sunsinger subclasses? If someone could give me a preferred PvE set up it would be appreciated, i.e. what to select in each column within the subset.
Just want to maximize my Warlock and be as helpful as I can in the hard mode Crota raid. Thanks in advance Guardians.

3 RepliesSun singer with radiant skin, longer radiance (forgot the name), shield scorch, firebolt grenade, gift of the sun, and spec'd for equal armor and recovery. Max discipline can get you 12 or 13 grenades that hit 3 enemies each.

I run void walker. I love using the Annihilate perk with the Bloom perk. The destruction is beautiful. That combo works like a charm in both PVP and PVE. if you're running something like Crota hard, use the energy drain perks. You can never go wrong with a warlock

Apotheosis veil for voidwalker. Heart of the praxic fire for sunsinger.

1 ReplyEdited by randomhero204: 1/29/2015 6:22:37 PMObsidian mind or hard mode raid helmet...(yes there is a difference in hard and easy gear) for the "killing enemies of darkness fills your super" perk Work on having intellect based gear and if you don't want/need self res use song of flame... Pop it as soon as you get your super and start shooting things as that also generates orbs and you'll make 8 orbs and reduce the cool down for everyone with you... Fun for all Then after your fire team pop their own super they will definitely have after you pick up their orbs and go again

1 ReplyEdited by Moonglow89: 1/29/2015 5:57:44 PMI use Voidwalker with Annihilate, Vortex Mastery and whatever else increases the size and duration of Nova Bomb and Vortex grenades. I mainly use this as a lockdown character to cut off points from enemies by doing massive AoE with duration. For Sunsinger, I mostly spec for Fireborn and Solar Grenades to the same effect. I like controlling the battlefield as a Warlock. They have the most capacity to. Crowd Control is the best way to compensate for being super squishy.

1 ReplyVw I roll vortex grenade, focused burst, vortex, annihilate (I think its that one) maxed out recovery, and either bloom or vortex mastery. Lifedrain as well Combo that with obsidian mind is great Apotheosis veil and a build around energy drain is great for crota fights Id have to actually look at my sunsinger build to tell you that one
