I finally got the thorn about a week ago and I love it.
I also have fate bringer...I'm just not feeling it. Don't know what all the hype is about, besides the arc dmg.

Use it in this week's nightfall and watch how you kill a pack of 6 thrall with one shot.

Shoot one thrall and watch the other 3-4 next to him die as well. Pretty darn handy if you ask me
