So while playing Destiny this morning, my audio cut out and only certain noises were audible. I then got stuck at a loading screen. Could not fire my weapon. Nothing. I tried to dashboard and quit. Would not work. Did a hard reset. Turned back on and the green logo loading screen will not go away. I've looked this up but I'm looking for second opinions here. Do I have to send my xbox out to be repaired/replaced?
EDIT: If it absolutely needs to be sent out,y largest concern is my save data. Will I be able to recover it all through the cloud with a new console?

1 ReplyI went through a VERY similar problem with my console. My game crashed and I was sent to the Black Screen of Death (it exists, look it up). I had to reset my console to factory defaults via a USB drive. If you need help use the chat support on xbox's website (it's basically like texting). Anyway, all of your saves are stored on the cloud. If/when you do get a new console, or do what I did, you will still have all of your saves. Message me through Bungie if you need more help. The process is still fresh in my brain if you need help. P.S. If you factory reset, you'll have to re-download ALL digital games, and re-install ALL physical games. All my stuff was stored on an external hard drive, so that wasn't an issue for me.
