Combo heavy - 11.8k
Heavy - 14k
Super - 17k
Easy super combo - 57k damage
R1 R1 R2 R2 super
High DPS no super - 51k

Easy DPS combo - 46k
R1 R1 R2 R1 R2
Highest DPS - 71k

Easy damage - 42k

This is to me by far the best way to take down Crota.

When I killed crota in two swords I killed him with 4 heavy sword hits with 3 kneels each time. N he died in two kneels in the last sword

I rock my directional stick at the same time.. I can easily land 5-7 hits in one sword.. I cut out the animation of swinging and getting up from a heavy.

On what console? R1and r2 are the opposite to each other on ps3 and ps4.

7 RepliesThere are different configurations for controllers so I really hate when people post references to R1 etc.... If you want to be helpful you should list what the button function is so the user can determine what button/stick/bumper/trigger is correct for their setup. Eg: Trigger / Melee / Grenade.... etc.

2 RepliesMy ideal hits for 3 swords are all with heavy attack. 4 + 4 for the first run so you can be a little risk. 3 + 3 for the second run, so your a bit more safe and you are 1 hit from enrage by the end. 3 + 1 for last run, theoretically he will enrage on first hit, then die on 1st hit of last down and you have time for 2-3 hits more in case something goes wrong. Also only hitting 3 on first down so that you don't mess up so you're playing it safe. The only issue you may run into is if your team can't drop him for the final down fast enough and you all die from oversoul, i'm not sure though I think you will have time.

2 RepliesHe goes down in 18 heavy hits. So unless you can hit him 9 times per sword run (or the equivalent damage with other combos) you'll need 3 runs anyway. So I play it safe and hit him 3 times per kneel so I have all the time to blink strike him or get away in safety

When crotas shield is completely gone you can hurt him. I have seen too many sword bearers that wait for him to be on his knee. If you slam when he is at about 10% he should take damage as it hits. Assuming of course that your team was using Gjallarhorn, and the damage will delay a quarter second.[spoiler]just FYI[/spoiler]

Impossible to get 5 hits in unless you're a hunter or just dam perfect with the sword. I just to the RB glitch. RB, RT,RT,RT 4 HITS down crota faster
