Edit. I received my first Gjallahorn from Hard Atheon just before weekly reset and still think Xur should sell it.

I feel like logically thinking, Xür will probably not be selling the Gjallerhorn. Bungie needs something to keep all the 32's grinding until the House of Wolves launches. Seeing as it is the most sought after gun in the game, much like the Mythoclast was in the first few weeks after launch. I highly doubt Bungie would want players to achieve their final goal of the game at the risk of all the grinders leaving seeing they have no new goal to set their eyes on and accomplish before House of Wolves drops. I highly doubt Xur would sell it until a more sought after weapon is introduced.... Sorry guys.... I want it to, but it isn't practical for Bungie to just give it away to everyone who has 23 coins... :(

Xur will never sell the Gjallarhorn. The reason being because this is Bungie's last resort atm. People are pissed at the game now more than ever due to their recent and not-so-recent changes to the game and they know that if they just give everyone a Gjallarhorn, everyone's going to satisfied and done with this sad premature chronic shit of a game by next week.
