What are your thoughts your thoughts on guys using girl characters all the time? XD I've been playing for a long time and almost all girl characters are actually guys. Would you say this is a bad thing?

I'm a female, so it's different when I see guys playing as girls because I always think I'm playing with another girl until it turns out to be a guy, which isn't a problem but hilarious that they use female characters.

I play a girl human hunter....hunger games same thing..just seems right Awoken male Titan and cyborg male lock all seem like it should be that's why I did
-
9 RepliesI can't believe this actually bothers or intrigues people? I think the ONLY people who are bothered by it are the creeps who want to hit on female players. Oh.....you're a dude!?!?!?
-
I have to see my character and here my character and I would much rather see a female than a male and hear a female. That is the same thing several of my friends say to this also. To each their own though.
-
Made a female character cause the woman kept asking if there was a female option. Made a female warlock and i have the worst luck with rng with her. Smh!! Lol

Why would it be a bad thing? I have three characters two are male, one is female, I've never understood why people think it's strange for a guy to have a female character in a video game. Any game where I will be making multiple characters I will be diverse in the race/gender of the characters, why would you just keep doing the same thing? Plus sometimes female characters just look better, but in the end who gives a sh*t, it's a video game. I'd be more worried about the people who insult and take issue with males making female characters, makes you wonder what the underlying cause is that makes them so uncomfortable with it....

Who really cares? Are you trying to date them? If you need a girl goto the bar. It's a game man

I use a girl hunter just so I know which character holds the Crota and atheon checkpoints so I can help the community get the check points as well. Really helps with weekly resets Cuz I do my other characters start to finish ans for the girl I don't finish them up until late Monday night

Why do these threads keep coming up? Have people never played Metroid, Tomb Raider, or even the new Borderlands? It's not weird to play a female video game character. And I know this one gets repeated a lot, but it's true. 3rd person games. Staring at a digital ass for hours on end. Might as well make a hot chick for at least some of your characters.

4 RepliesWhat about fat people running characters that are physically fit?! HOW DARE THEY? Or brunettes making a blond avatar. OH, THE HUMANITY!
-
Enough with this -blam!-ing topic...
-
I feel like they have a smaller hit box
-
My girlfriend created her own guardian so when I want to use a titan it's her chick
-
1 ReplyI personally think female Titans look cooler
-
It's a nice break from my male hunter to see my female titans ass lol
-
I use a female warlock. doesn't mean anything, just wanted to switch it up a little.
-
3 RepliesI use I female hunter because the male hunters don't look right to me...I had one a deleted it because the female looks so much more like how I envision hunters.
-
Neck beards like digital chicks. They like hearing their voices in combat, and staring at them in the equipment menu. Creepy? Kinda. Gay? I dunno. Ask your grandpa
-
10 RepliesUsing the excuse "I'd rather look at a female body than a guys" doesn't justify shit, it's a video game yall bitches

3 RepliesWhat's the difference? Not like the male characters look tough and manly. They all look like they're in a boy band. The female characters actually look way more badass.
-
make titans look like big stupid robots so I use a female for my Titan. I have a female hunter so I can tell her apart from my main hunter
-
Only my titan is female cause the male titans look unrealistically bulky.
-
Only got 1 female character and 2 male characters just to change it up a bit. Also i thought the female would have a smaller hitbox when I first made it
-
7 RepliesI respect you opinion but I also have my opinion about males using male characters :) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/97427175/0/0 Enjoy

4 RepliesI don't really understand it either, but I think I may know part of the reason we keep asking this question: When we create characters, there are some of us (myself included), that project ourselves on our character -we see the character as ourselves. I think there is a minority (just seems there are fewer to me, but still a significant number) of players who are detached from their character, and see it as a individual outside themselves. Those are your male/female crossovers. Those players like to build characters totally inverse of who they are. Then there's probably trans-genders here and there that identify with the opposite sex. But much like real life, they are truly low-frequency.
