Money.

Because the Omnigul Strike is a part of the DLC
-
I'm just so sick of playing the same three strikes over and over again. It's really getting stupid. Omnigul, valus, the devils layer. Give us something else already. Not to mention the 12 energy and shards I have been getting from them week after week. Wtf do I need them for, I have 300 of shards and 400 energy. It all makes me want to stop playing nightfalls each week.

3 RepliesIt's 20 dollers....... if you don't want to buy it that's on you but don't cry about it when nobody else cares
-
Ew. Just buy the dlc (for non dlc owners). These forums are loaded with whiners. If i can poop 20 dowlaz i would give it to u.
-
Because it is an expansion if you want to continue the game play you have to buy the expansion its there game they own the right to do with it as they want.
-
Omnigul is the most fun strike. I am very happy with this weeks nightfall especially with all burn.
-
The catering truck comes by my work everyday with different menu items. Today I didn't get to eat from there, BECAUSE I DIDN'T PAY FOR IT.
-
1 ReplyThe reason that you didn't see one is because people are sick of hearing the same bitching everytime Omnigul comes around. There is no issue and nothing to be addressed just like any other game in the world if you dont buy the DLC then you aren't going to get to play the game to its full extent. If they want to stick with the base game well that sucks for them they will just have to deal with it while the game expands for people who pay for it.

Edited by XBT SNAKE: 1/28/2015 9:13:00 PMBuy the disc locked content...you will never be locked out again...until the next one It's like ordering a pizza. You don't get it until you pay for it.
-
The same way when you go to a club the bio room isn't included in the basic package yes it's in the building but they know they may have people pay more for the exclusivity.

40 RepliesLook at it from a life perspective, both involving money and not. I call a restaurant ahead of time and make a reservation, you just show up. We will both have access to the restaurant; you may need to wait for a table while I go right in. That's a choice. We both order something online. You choose to have expedited shipping and I don't. We both get our packages, you just get yours sooner, I have to wait. That's a choice Bungie released a DLC and added new maps to the weekly rotation. I bought the DLC and someone else didn't. I get to play when DLC maps come up in rotation, they need to wait. That's a choice. We all have access to the same services, we just made choices that may delay our access to what we want. People are not locked from the nightfall, they just have to wait for what they paid for. It was their choice.

You must be new here
-
And now daily 3 things I can't do now lol
-
I don't think it would be every 3 weeks like it has been, but it should be in the rotation. I actually made a poll earlier: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/96563139/0/0

1 ReplyIt s called marketing
-
Because they want you to buy the DLC so they can, as a result, make money. I would do the same thing
-
2 RepliesWhy waste the DLC buyers time? If you don't pay to get the new content, Accept your fate. Its pretty clear what they have to do if they want to play nightfall this week.
-
1 Reply$$$... the witcher 3 is giving away 16 different free DLC's after the games launch... bungie should take notes.
-
all i know is i paid for the DLC and i get to play the nightfall this week.
-
1 ReplyLol thats like saying why cant you ride your bike even tho it has no wheels xD
-
That's how rpg expansions work.
-
Edited by TheSunOfWinterr: 1/28/2015 8:45:02 PMArchon Priest should always be for non dlc owners
-
9 RepliesPerhaps because the nightfall is a dlc. I don't understand why people think this is bad. If they locked people who didn't buy the dlc out of all nightfall, then that would be awful. But they are only locking people out of what they didn't pay for

Remember what online gaming used to be like? Probably not. Companies used to develop server code that was hosted by 3rd parties. Unless you had your own server you literally had to pay someone, $2+ per player slot, to run the game server for you. Now you invest in a license, the company hosts the servers for you, and games just die when they are no longer profitable. We've entered the age of disposable gaming, and you wonder why Bungie doesn't want to do extra work so they can keep people that are no longer supporting their product happy?

you are not very bright huh?
