why is bungie locking out non-dlc owners from nightfall ?
since this week is omnigul again and i havent seen this thread appear i had to make a new one , i got the dlc with my ghost edition btw , but this needs to be addressed (again)

12 RepliesIt doesn't seem like it would be that hard to create an alternate playlist... I don't think it's ok for them to block off one of the regular game activities just because a DLC came out. If Destiny at launch stood on its own, this would be less noticeable.

It doesn't need to he addressed at all, anyone who wants to play the nightfall/weekly every week, buy the Dlc, simple. You want to be part of a growing game, buy the goddamn Dlc.

Because the content release lineup is all falling around the Frankenstein game that they have released. We are missing huge parts of the story and content has been jumbled up to go with the final storyline that they changed 7 months before release... Deal with it like every other fan has had too that wants to stay. I will pay for the DLC because it love 99% of the way the visioned this game and I do follow bungie on this journey

The reasonable decision would be to include both DLC strikes and non-DLC strikes each week. Those who purchased the DLC will have a second shot at getting heroic and nightfall rewards every week, while players who do not have the DLC will still have a surefire opportunity to obtain strange coins. The additional strike each week would entice non-DLC players into purchasing the DLC rather than alienating and discouraging them.

Nobody cares anymore either buy the dlc or deal with it bungie obviously loves the omnigul strike it shows up so often.

I get that they're trying to force dlc in everyone...but what about people who bought it and are tired of doing omnigul so often....change it up..it's less fun, there's 5 possible strikes and omnigul shows up about 1 in every 3...that said triple burn saved it this week, and I enjoyed it..but I don't want to see omnigul again before the nexus and archon priest pop up

5 RepliesBecause there are so many who can't seem to wrap their mind around it, I'll try to explain. People who do not own the DLC and want to play the nightfall, ARE NOT ASKING FOR THE STRIKE FOR FREE. they simply want to be able to do a nightfall strike, it doesn't have to be the new strike. There are separate playlists for PvP, why can't they do the same for the nightfall. To everyone who owns the DLC, you probably don't care and will inevitably call me a broke scrub. Go ahead, it's further reflects the cesspool this forum community has devolved into.

4 RepliesHi, Please Ignore all the negative comments below. Many people in this forum are Bungie employees. You right..Bungie is not supposed to to put the DLC on original game. It's supposed to be an additional. Not make the original customer not able to play. It is a bad marketing practice. I have DLC...but still the way Bungie/Activision doing business by forcing original customers to buy DLC is just wrong. What's happen if the Destiny 2 out? Will they force the Destiny 1 customer to buy it or the will not able to play the original contents.
