Bungie didn't lock anyone out. The people who didn't buy it locked themselves out.
-
Money. That's all
-
This is how they make money. Get the crack heads hooked then get them to pay more
-
1 ReplyI think they should at least unlock NF and weekly for non-dlc users.

Dapper gentlemen
-
So people will buy it and they'll get rich an buy nice things.

Hint:
$$$$$$
2 RepliesIn a alternative universe: "What the -blam!- bungie? whats the point of buying your DLC if you"re not going to ever put it as the nightfall"
-
Because they got the money to invent this game from an investor driven company, which is only interested in earning money and not in player's satisfation? Isn't it obvious? They want you to buy it and the less you can play the game, you want to play, the more you will have be driven to buy the DLC. Other question: Why don't you have the DLC?

3 RepliesEdited by LiCkEr2249: 2/17/2015 11:16:36 AMIt's because this week's nighfall strike is one that is only available with the dark below dlc. If you don't pay for it, you can't play it. simple as that. lol here it comes.

11 RepliesEvery time a friend say "lets go play it, just bought Destiny" and I know it's non dlc I think to myself "should I just say right now he won't be able to do much or let him face disappointment by himself?"
-
So you'll buy it. Obviously
-
Bungie are modelling this game as an MMO....... Expansions being brought out and becoming necessary are common among nearly every MMO available, I mean look at World of Warcraft..... Being locked out a single Weekly/Nightfall (not even every week) is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Just playing devil's advocate here, but you don't see DLC owners complaining about having to play Phogoth again, or Valus, do you?..... The same argument can be applied from their point of view.

I recommend actually reading the Terms of Service before blindly going and complaining about things you agreed to.

1 ReplyVideo games aren't for the middle class anymore. Step your game up… or tell your parents to.

Edited by HaouRyuk: 2/1/2015 7:17:26 PMTo get you to push for buying the dlc, You don't HAVE to, but it's there to let you know you'll miss out It's a pretty good marketing technique
-
11 RepliesNah it's fine. For the people complaining I recommend becoming unpoor and buy the GD DLC.
-

3 RepliesYou again.. Stop it. They know how you feel. You don't have to address it ant further. In fact, I'm gonna start reporting these threads for spamming.

19 RepliesSome don't have DLC ? And what ??? No problem, one week you can play, one other you can't, what's the problem ?
-
1 ReplyEvery game that has non paid for DLC vs.. those that do pay for it does the same thing. Just like WoW has always done, people that don't buy it get some of the stuff in the xpac, but not everything. If people don't own it, oh well, you lose out for the time being. Simply how it goes so people need to stop whining about it. But at the same time, I can't imagine that it would be very hard to create a different playlist for those that don't own it to skip the DLC stuff for when this happens.

2 RepliesThis is still a thing? Buy the dlc or wait till next week...
