why is bungie locking out non-dlc owners from nightfall ?
since this week is omnigul again and i havent seen this thread appear i had to make a new one , i got the dlc with my ghost edition btw , but this needs to be addressed (again)

2 RepliesMy question is how hard is it for Bungie to implement a system where if you bought the base game only weeklies contained in that base game should appear for you and if you bought the dlc then dlc stuff will be in your rotation. And don't tell me it can't be done, Xbox users don't play Playstation exclusive strikes. So it is possible. Bungie is pressuring or should I say forcing people to buy their dlc which isn't much of a dlc, it should be free. Before anyone of you start talking crap I have the Seasons pass

The best way to maximize print is to earn larger revenue To gain larger revenue they have to sell more A way for them to sell more to purchasers of the game originally is to have dlc for purchase. To promote dlc purchases they create high drop rate content that is only available to those who purchase the dlc. Thus more people purchase the dlc raising revenue allowing them to have greater profit margins. Can't make this crap up people.

Its seriously been a topic every week the DLC missions are the weekly/nightfall, ever since the DLC release. I'm pretty sure Bungie doesn't give a sh!t because they've gotten all the money they need from the release and the Xmas sales. The DLC was icing on the cake for a company that is actually trying hard to make this work, but unfortunately, for me, is not. Look at what the game COULD have been. I look at the raids and they very easily could have been integrated into the story. Bungie should have anticipated the rapid leveling of players and scheduled for more story missions and strikes to hold us over between DLC's. I don't know about you guys/gals, but I get really bored and tired of the repetition every single day. I have to at least say its good on Bungie to continue with the weekly updates and all, but holy crap storm, give us some new content!!!!! Cheers

No it doesn't need to be addressed again. Asked and answered a million times on this forum. If you want to play a DLC map then buy the damn DLC.

If people are still playing this game so long after the release, then they should either spend the money for the dlc or stfu, these threads are annoying, every time that omnigul comes up for nightfall the tears start flowing.

Go play something else. Quit complaining and deal with it. By the time HoW comes out, if people haven't gotten TDB, that's their own fault, and will likely have to deal with not just one week of being locked out, but two. Who's fault is that? The person not buying the DLC. Deal with it, or delete all of your character slots, delete the installation for Destiny, delete everything relating to destiny on your console, take that disc, and throw it in the trash. Then, go play another game. Problem solved.

I'm sorry, if they are into the game enough that they have reached a nightfall worthy level, they would buy the dlc. Don't give me the "What if they can't afford it?" They can afford a TV, a console and a game. They can afford £20 for a dlc.

It's so not fair. I bought batman arkham city and it came with the catwoman dlc but I can't play the Harley Quinn doc since I didn't buy it. It's not fair. Everyday I can't play the Harley Quinn dlc. Seriously everyday. Bungie should fix it.
