What's the best sniper rifle?
I know everyone loves them some Ice Breaker, but lately there's been a lot of Blackhammer hype, along with the rare Patience and Time lover. What's your go-to sniper rifle?

Longbow synthesis for purple and icebreaker as an exotic

Obviously love using my Icebreaker. But I've also got a void Longbow with firefly, and that thing destroyed minotaurs in this weeks nightfall. If I need the exotic slot for something else, I default to that or arc LDR.

Surprised I haven't seen many Longbow Synthesis fans. Mine has balance maxed out and handles really well. I run it with The Last Word. Should be noted this is a PVP setup for me.

Spear works very well in Crota hard mode. (It hits hard)

IB or Black Hammer are my go to snipers I also have the VoG one maxed for void burn weeks

5 RepliesOnly set up I use in pvp is no land beyond and light of the abyss. Frequently go over 2.0 kdr. I have had a 9.0 with just NLB with 27 kills. If you can't use a no land beyond and you're using a scoped sniper, 9 times out of 10 you're dead. Love to make people rage as well.

Idk why everyone says IB is no good for pvp. First day I got it I had a few games with 15+ kills with it. I've been trying to upgrade my suros tho (damn exotic resets) so I've been using ldr with clown cartridge and rodeo and pradeyths revenge with it. But ib is my fav for sure. The noise when it fires is badass lol
