I feel as though the hand cannons are much more effective with hunters than warlocks and titans. Could there be any other hidden "class-specific weapon perks"? For example, faster reload speed for auto rifles for titans. Bungie is known for this hidden perk malarkey.
Edit 1: I'm not talking about blade of woe nor gunslingers trance. I'm asking about hidden buffs like quickdraw or single point sling that could possibly be active with hunters and not other classes. (Without having weapons with those perks)

7 RepliesThe "Hunter Master Race" perk gives 4x the damage with each weapon type while using a hunter.

I play hunter and titan and can't tell the difference.
-
The only difference i notice are the skill tree buffs and the higher agility of the hunter.

Edited by UnwindingEar5: 1/27/2015 11:50:42 PMThere are no hidden buffs, its just people with the hunter class are good at using the hunter class, not that I know of, since the three months I played my hunter.

1 ReplySkill. That is all.
-
The bad ass of course, silly
-
Agility maybe? Maybe not?
-
I run gunslingers trance to speed up reload
-
1 ReplyWhen I play on a Titan or hunter I can aim quickly and move but when I'm on warlock I feel like I have limited turning and aiming
-
Nothing specific to hand cannons but chain of woe and gunslingers trance are well suited to these weapons.
-
Agility affects it and chain of woe and trance
-
As far as aiming, shooting and damage? No Getting to where you need to to get the shot, yes. Blade dancing hunters have invisibility Titans have the most vertical jump and can superman them selves distances I hadn't thought possible Warlocks they can come back from the dead and keep you in the game in pve

6 RepliesEdited by BannedMythicAccount: 1/27/2015 6:26:29 PMGive a good player any weapon and they'll find a way to destroy. Stereotypical Hunters generally focus on precision kills hence faster kill rate. The average warlock and titan are much bigger and slower targets. While Hunters have agility on their side at the cost of tankyness. Good Hunters kill faster due to precision and reflexes. There is no hidden buff. I think it's just movespeed that's making you think that. This is more from a PvP perspective.

2 RepliesChain of woe and gunslingers trance?
-
Yeah it's called skill.
-
Yes, there is a hidden perk that not everyone knows about and it's called ASR and in case you were wondering what this is it's "Aim,Shoot & Reload". This perk has given me such an advantage over other guardians, it's almost unfair when you keep using it over and over.....it should be nerfed.
-
5 RepliesIt is called skill. But Hunters are more mobile than the other classes, in some aspects.
-
It sure isn't for health. I've gotten killed just after raising it.
-
I think they have faster movement.
-
3 RepliesAs a Hunter, with a hand cannon as my primary weapon of choice, my head shot acquisition is instinctively faster then a lot of the other classes I've partied with. Hunters are incredibly squishy. Conditioning from 1-29 forces me to be quick both on my feet and my hand cannon. I think it's just our aggressive playstyle.
-
Always use these, makes weapons missing these perks very good
-
The gunslinger has perks that increase accuracy and reload speed after you get precision kills. Not much else behind it
-
Well, the Gunslinger subclass has perks for stability and reload when they get precision hits. It's a slight boost but probably nothing that equals the perks of a Titan or Warlock.
