Best way to communicate your anger is to not pre order anything past HOW. Make sure any future content receives good reviews before you fork over your money. Best way to make Bungie accountable

That's a shame, because nobody matter how many people "leave"; and let's face it, they won't; people will still be here, enjoying the game, playing it, and having fun with it. A handful of people protesting DLC and not purchasing it doesn't really hurt Bungie in the grand scheme of things.
-
Destiny was the only DLC I've ever preordered because I'm usually not big on DLC in other games, I find the base game is usually just fine with me. I won't ever preorder DLC again for anything. The past week I've been growing tired of playing this game. I'm only around for nightfalls now and for HoW, since I already preordered lol. I was in love with this game since the beta too. Just a shame that we get nothing really new. Just re skinned items and missions run in reverse order of vanilla missions.

Yep. They lost me on future purchases. I know i'm not the only one. It will sting but it won't kill them. Come 3 though, might be different.

That's for sure, bump!!!

Edited by IXari0nI: 1/26/2015 11:18:02 PMYou're right man you got my support! make a dont buy dlc from bungie until they fix it facebook fanpage or something like that. You most certainly got my support as will from many others i'm sure
-
This exactly. The only other game I preordered dlc was battlefield 4 and we saw how long it took them to fix the game. Roughly 6+ months for those that don't know. And there are still features that have been in every other bf made that aren't in the new one Hopefully they don't screw up hardline, and they being EA

A review is just another persons opinion, you can't tell if you like something until you try it yourself.
-
You're right but at least you can get an idea of the way it plays from watching someone else play and seeing the things they are not happy with
-
Yeah you can get an idea of how it play from watching it, but that's where it stops.
-
Agreed. Destiny was my first and last preorder.

Edited by CllSgnCalliope: 1/26/2015 8:12:23 PMLiked, bumped and highly agreed. Even when I was in a rush to buy the game, my husband tried to warn me that we should wait for reviews first. We saw reviews and still bought into the hype out of pure excitement over what we hoped (and were led to believe) the game would be. We played and we felt disappointed, despite the addictive quality of the game. It didn't change the fact that this was the final product... but when TDB was poised to release, I had high hopes that we were going to get things we wanted. Instead, players were locked out of activities if they didn't have the DLC, the story still lacked and suffered from painful repetition, and most players just felt let down altogether. I understand some saying that it's a long term plan, but that's no excuse for the release of what was ultimately an incomplete game. I've paid for the expansion pass, so I will play through HOW. Real life in combination with the redundant grinding has slowed my playing; my husband stopped entirely, even before the first DLC released. But I do plan to speak with my wallet, and if the improvements that our community has asked for have not been provided, I will quit entirely. To each his own, and I'm happy for those players who are pleased with the game. Happy hunting.

+1 Right on the money.

Well said

After 6 months the itch will return and the masses will buy again.

I think you'd be surprised. A lot of people have stuck around with destiny despite their frustrations because they've paid up to HOW. I doubt people are going to be so willing to fork their money over unless Bungie addresses these issues going forward
-
This is exactly my position on the subject. This game is such a missed opportunity. Feels like there wasn't much planning done with the way things have been handled thus far.

Definitely doing this. TDB has been a huge letdown.
