I play Borderlands... Grind, don't make me laugh.
-
So have I. It's really not that bad. 2's level scaling got ridiculous though.
-
You don't know what grinding is until you play a Korean MMORPG
-
Skyrim, Diablo 1&2, borderlands 1&2... Destiny is far from a grind and Warframe actually has a loot system where you get rewards for completing parts of the game.
-
You still grind a ton.

Edited by Gimme Your Hair: 1/26/2015 9:02:46 PMYes. Destiny prepped my ass to handle any kind of grind imaginable.

Pre-trade skill update Everquest, bleeding from your fingers, ears and ass. You new guys are so soft.
-
I didn't understand a word of what you just said. But I liked it.

Doing trade skills in Everquest (especially in the early days) puts Destiny and warframe in the shade. I can only compare it to something along the lines of, imagine farming 8 hours a day for 3-4 days for a single Ascendant shard, then realizing you need 200 of them to build that item you are making. Aion (a Korean MMO) also had similar hilarity.

Isn't there supposed to be a difference between a video game and a video job? Could be I'm just a spoiled millennial.
-
When you're young and have plenty of time between university lectures this distinction doesn't seem important. Later in life you realise you were behaving like a lunatic. A lot of the PVE hard-asses on this forum still haven't come to their senses and think that chore = fun. They'll learn but it might take them a few years.

Play Defiance... Then you'll be prepared for any grind.
-
Defiance wasnt a grind for me. I always found a better gun in the time span of 1 or 2 days... fvck, i never got an orange/gold rarity but it never seemed to be needed, dem charge pistols and snipers are fvckin good enough for any job. :D
