If you want even further evidence of its "Exotic"-ness please allow me to advise that I received it from the chest at the beginning of the Gorgon Maze. And to add further evidence- the game will not allow me to equip my icebreaker or dragon's breath while I have it equipped. Tl; dr- it's an exotic
