I have been playing Destiny since November 19th. I played through the story mode. Through the strike playlists. Spent hours on patrols and in the crucible. And it finally hits me. I. Am. Bored. The three words I never thought I would say as I raced home from GameStop, pulling packaging off the box and setting the disc in the tray. Never thought I would say it as I shut down Vex portals and blasted Fallen. Never thought I would say it. But I did. I stopped playing Destiny because I was bored of running the same strikes over and over again. Once you do everything once or twice, it wears on you. Just recently, I came back to Destiny after 3 weeks. I was happy to see some changes to Destiny. But there needs to be more. And I have some ideas.: 1. Sparrow racing I heard that this was coming, but I have reason to doubt it. I would love to see races throughout Destiny. The ability to upgrade and race your sparrows is amazing to me. 2. Player to Player trading Also a highly discussed topic. Instead of having all those vault towers, I think one should be full of vaults while the other is a trading station. You can have two people set up in the trading area and trade weapons and gear. 3. Engrams Engrams still piss me off. Legendaries are WAY to rare, and Exotics even worse. The amount of times I have gotten an Acendant Energy from a legendary engram is way to often. And not mention out of class items. When you spend all day farming or collecting engrams, you should be rewarded with something you can actually use. When I received two legendary Warlock gauntlets, I was needless to say, surprised. I am a Hunter. I'm sorry, but this needs to stop. 4. Matchmaking There are three main changes I want to see in the crucible. 1) skill based matching 2) custom games 3) more game modes 5. More things to do on patrol Patrolling is a fantastic way to get Vanguard rep. but it is boring as hell. You run the same things over and over and often times you have to race across the map to kill one guy. Then pick up a mission and run all the way back! I love the GTA feel where a bunch of other people around you are doing their thing. But there has to be more missions you can do! Maybe every once in a while, a legendary ranked public event comes down (like a mini-strike) and everyone has a chance to go at it. Of course, rewards should not be as great as the bigger legendary strikes, but they should be alright. That is it for now.
