Played it for abit and it seemed alright, the premise seemed cool. I don't like that there is a lot of locked content unless you dish out real money even if most of it is cosmetic. I understand it's free to play and some sort of business model needs to be in place. I guess that's why I don't enjoy free-to-play titles.

You can unlock 90% of content without paying, there are cosmetic items that you need to pay for but all frames/weapons etc are totally unlockable.

Locked content... Like cosmetic accessories? What are you referring to? You can reach endgame content without ever paying a penny.

What about the Prime Access and Prime Accessories DLC thing? I'm pretty sure those contain one or two items not obtainable by playing?

No, you can obtain Nova Prime and her weapons through normal gameplay as schematics. You must craft them using various resources. The Prime Access allows you to buy them all at once as a bundle. Yes, the prime accessories cannot (as far as I know) be obtained through normal gameplay.

There is no locked content. But you do have to play for a long time if you don't wanna spend money. Also, anything you have to pay for can be had for free via player trading.
