How do people max weapons so fast?
It took me a good while to max my up for anything and IB, but some people get the raid weapons and have them maxed the next day, how do they do it?

Complete nightfall. Do all bounties on a character with weapon equipped. Use a telemetry. Turn in bounties. Play with gun in crucible until time runs out on telemetry. Rinse and repeat on alts. Just leveled a new exotics a day.

Do all Vanguard and Eris bounties for the day on all three characters and swap the weapons over in the vault. If you're online at reset you can pick up the bounties on one character and complete them. Turn them in and then log out. When you log back in again the bounties are there to complete again. I don't normally do this but I had a Black Hammer and Word of Crota to max out the other day. The short answer is bounties on three characters.

5 RepliesEdited by Bytehoven: 1/26/2015 12:08:31 AMThe fastest way is to run bounties on multiple toons with a telemetry boost + Nightfall EXP boost. Depending on the EXP value of the Bounties, it can be easy to level a legendary in 1 day with 2 characters. Exotics usually take 2-3 days depending on bounty EXP. What I usually do when I don't have any weapons or armor to level, I run and keep as many 5000 EXP bounties as possible and hold onto them. Then when I get a good weapon/armor drop, I can start the upgrade very strong. I'd also note, if you run a Public Event every day, that provides a 5000 EXP mail reward(s) you can also save to use later.

They save up their bountys when they don't have anything needed to be uppgraded. No use in turning in those bountys if you have everything maxed. So just have them completed and ready to be turned in.

3 RepliesPass them across all 3 characters doing bounties. Telemetries are also helpful. The daily can help as well, but is oddly buggy about whether the xp goes into an item or not

You can have then fully upgraded in the Same day if your Well prepared.

An exotic weapon will take around 32 bounties with nightfall buff and weapon telemetry. A legendary will take about 22-25 bounties with both buffs. If you run all 3 chars daily bounties you should get it.

I always have at least 8- 5000 xp bounties waiting for when I get a epic gear drop☺

Multiple characters, make sure to have the weapon/armor equipped before you turn in the bounty.

Have your weapon equiped when turning in bounty. A lot of people have 3 characters on each character you can do 5 vaguard 5 crucible and 4 eris bounty's so its easy to max a gun in a day

4 RepliesWhen I hand in a bounty I always have an item requiring XP loaded. If 1 item needed quickly just that one only. Can do a legendary in 4 hours of play if done right over a couple of days.
