Slightly more. Not a ton more, but with golden gun you need to: 1. pick a time to use it where it won't be a waste 2. fire it up out of view of enemy players, as they will kill you instantly once you fire it up if you try to use it as a panic super 3. actually aim it at actual players (not just capture zones that you see are being taken) 4. not die while it is in use (you get no health increase upon activation, though it does recharge your shields if they were down when you fired it up). I can't vouch for blade dancer because I don't use it.

So, better timing, not more skill.
