Handlebars sucks monkey nuts.

That song by Flobots, handlebars, sucks bad. Here's a link. It gets stuck in my head, which is why I never listen to it, and it just plain sucks. Discussify. Don't they mean hands, not handlebars? If there aren't any handlebars on your bike, then something's wrong. Here's a good song. • I believe it's about how when two friends go different ways, one being corporate and one being free spirited, you can completely loose what you had. The one character who went corporate could ride his bike with no handle bars, with a friend, symbolizing innocence, and his split into the business world shows how he gaine power and was corrupted after gaining so much power. "I can do anything with no permission". When he sees his friend die, the one who took the path of freedom and inner-beauty above superficial desires, he is drawn back to find out that he really wanted to just stay free, and ride his bike with no handle bars. Good song, but the message is pretty cliche.

 •
Posted by: ScOpEbOy The song is about how power can corrupt. He starts off innocently by being able to riding a bike with no handlebars ( still dont know how you do that ) Into Being able to end the world in a holocaust as he gains more power and has more things under his control.
This song is about money.

 •
Posted by: JOE LIKES GIRLS i take a really deep meaning from this song. at least i think its deep, even though i might be completely wrong. i think all the stuff he says he can do, its all different from what people normally do, and what the government or society wants you to do. and he doesnt give in to all that crap.
You do know that he is just saying that s*** so that people like you will think exactly what you just said and buy their music so that they can become rich. Like it or not, that's how the music biz works.

 • I love how even radio DJs are complaining about that song now. I'm surprised they haven't put bullets in their heads after listening to it twice every hour.

 • If thats the only rap song you like, you haven't listened to very much rap. I listen to rock, metal, punk, techno, electronica, epic classical, rap, rap/rock, downbeat, and even some pop.

 • It's watered down rap for white kids. It's catchy, I'll give it that. I've listened to a bunch of other Flobots songs, too. All of them just terrible.

 • He says he's a famous rapper in the song...How is that rap? Today, to be considered rap it has to have at least some mention of hoes drugs murder gangs etc.
