Reason why I hate HM Crota "Mid Strategy" aka cheese
1) Boomers can't hit you, so teammates never kill them and the boomers kill the swordbearer and they blame the SB for dying.
2) Takes away the fear from the boomers.
3) Takes no skill.
4) Teammates never want to listen to a legit strategy that benefits all players especially the SB, they only focus on themselves so they can't die and cause the team to wipe.
5) People don't have to respec their Class and change their armor and weapons for the HM since they eliminate basically all damage.
I'm hoping Bungie will patch this cheese..

You didn't attack Crota when he moved to right and waited till he went back to mid. That's cheesing. You threw a grenade, that's cheesing. You turned your game system on to play destiny, that's cheesing

Have a Titan pop a bubble where Crota stands on the right side. He stands on the outside of the bubble while boomers shoot it. You just don't have the full strategy yet.

You are mistaken my man. If mid strat is a cheese then so is titans jumping up and blocking the boomers with their shields. They both eliminate the boomer/wizard threat so if one is a cheese then so is the other. Also if your sword bearer is dying because of boomers when using mid strat you're doing it wrong. The boomers NEVER shoot at me when I'm the SB. Just gotta know how its done. So get down off your high horse already, mis strat is most certainly not a cheese... Making Crota forever kneel is a CHEESE. Get it right bud.

I've done it from the left and from the mid while being the swordbearer. Mid strat requires swordbearer to not get spotted by the boomer. Easily done if you don't shoot anything and be quick when picking up the sword I was invisible. Overall I don't think the mid strat is cheating but being on the left is more fun and challenging I suppose.

if they patch it, we will just use armor piercing snipers to kill crota from the crystal room .(dunno if its a viable option)

Watch and learn Easy strategy kill ogres and Crota It's a combo of 2 strategies in one with beautiful execution.

Whines about people using a strat where boomers can't hit them and calls it cheese but uses a strat where he hides behind a rock so crota can't shoot him so they can get two rounds of sword attacks. The -blam!-ing hypocrisy. Hey jizz-nugget, why don't you and your team of douchebags do the "legit" strategy and only do one round of sword attacks and not hide behind the rock. That'll show everyone your 1337. Or better yet, snap your game disc in half and never come back. For the record, I personally think both of these strats are good and should be used. I just can't stand hypocritical assclowns

I was synthing some heavy" Edit (because people like to bitch about everything): I realize with a decent team that works this strategy like a boss this is an easy and fast way to complete it - this post simply applies to randoms I have ended up leaving and all those like them ;)

There are things called strategies that some people have multiples of for different situations and the middle method is just another strategy, not a cheese.

2 Replies#1 Boomers usually ignore the SB if he doesn't shoot when he jumps down to grab the sword #2 this is why many teams have a titan follow the SB and drop a bubble behind him, blocks the Boomer shots and creates orbs givingthe SB a super for the second attack. #3 Get the -blam!- over yourself everybody has a right to play the game how they see fit.
