This might have been discussed before, but I thought I would ask anyway. Essentially the endgame is a seperate leveling system compared to the "missions" that preceeded it (I refuse to call them Story because there is a complete lack of it).
Anyway - you reach 20, then you level up your light and get to 32 (33). Next DLC comes and its maybe 36.
When a "real" expansion comes how does that work? Every player automatically gets light taken away, levels up from 20 to say 40 and then "lights up again?" - the take a step forward then 2 stepps back approach?
Do Light levels get converted to real level enabling the player to skip 80% of the experience level missions (from now on my replacement term for story mission until there is one).
Light is a nice concept idea, but comon, for the game devs it must be a nightmare to say "where do we go from here?"
Any thoughts (without giving away endgame strat by the dev team)?
