Any tips to start a live streaming channel?

Hey guys, I watch a lot of YouTube content on my favourite games etc and am a half decent gamer I am considering doing livestreams and starting a twitch and YouTube channel, anyone got any advice? What hardware and software could I really do with having? Is ps4s live broadcast service good and reliable for twitch streams? I have a headset etc and I believe you can set this up to allow in game commentary? I have a good pc and would be willing to set up a rig to my ps4 if necessary. Also any tips on getting some sort of fan base and viewers from experience streamers would be great

  • Well, I do pc gaming on my channel so Fraps is my go to. For editing, you'll need something good, i use powerdirector 11.1, don't use easy mode though if you do it. And remeber to trim for youtube, don't upload hour long videos, edit it to keep in only the funny parts, unless there's a reason they need to see the uneditied footage, in which case just adjust the audio and such, it ain't easy, lemmetellya, is hard as balls getting all the software you have to work together. Twitch is hard to get working too on pc, it's a pain.
