Actually I think this is one topic where men are at a disadvantage (feminism also includes critical discussions of gender roles for men). Why should men be subjected to compulsory military service on the basis of gender alone? While feminism does deal primarily with women's issues, it is for gender equality. In my opinion (other people--feminists included--might agree or disagree with me), people of all genders should be free from compulsory military service and have the ability to choose to enter military service if they so wish.
