Bungie really need to remove ascendant shards from Nightfalls
I did 3 nightfalls with 3 different characters and what did I get? 7 shards as a reward for all of my characters and I aint bullshitting. Bungie needs to remove that from the reward system, do you agree?

4 RepliesYes. It's ridiculous at this point. As of now, for anyone high enough level to regularly do the Nightfall, ascendant shards are more worthless than motes of light.

Shards are why we still do the normal raid.

17 shards from all my characters this week from nightfall total. So off putting just started playing DAI

594 say yes and 88 say no. That just shows how they should REMOVE ascendant shards.

either that or give us a way to trade shards for energy and vice versa, along with a way to upgrade them to CE version and so on

Thankfully i rolled a sweet full auto with slide distance 331 Used it maybe 15 mins in total Not to mention i feel the esp boost is shit. 20% of 30 rep is not enough. It should be dpubling your rep gains. Not like you ever get anything half the time from packages

2 RepliesNightfall is a gamble. I know that going in. It is a high risk high reward. If you want something set then just do the weekly. I never complained when I only got mats and coins from the nightfall from the time I got my Hawkmoon in October until my last guardian 2 weeks ago when I finally got another exotic (my 3rd TLW). It was followed up by another Apotheosis Veil, two Universal Remotes, and another MIDA Multi-Tool. Like I said. It's a gamble. Except it as you are not always going to get something for doing it.

I got 24 I can't use on any character from nf. I'm 32 on the main and 31 with raid gear on the last two.

4 RepliesThey're still a part of the game, and people do need them. I'm for making radiant materials a drop as well, or even better, allowing you to convert ascendant materials for radiants at Eris. Perhaps a strong conversion like 5 to 1, or maybe need motes of light

I got 6 ascendant shards, 7 ascendant energy, and a crapy rocket luncher (more ascendant energy)

Mainly because we don't really need them any more. Could swap them for Radient once till the new Raid is released.

If nightfall can give shards/energy then we should at least be able to exchange one for the other like we do with radiant shards/energy
