Is there any motivation for Hard Mode Crotas End?
Trying to find purpose/motivation for this hard mode raid and I can't really. Other than having fun I see no purpose to this raids hard mode.
We will only gain mediocre primaries that we obviously don't need if we beat hard mode without them.
No special exotics
No armor
No increase in materials
I struggle to grasp the reasoning behind hard mode with this raid. All we need to do is wait until the tower sales better gear in HOW's.

Necrochasm Higher chance for the helmet if you need that. More loot from drops if you havent done normal. Loads of fun Multiple chances to get exotics you mat be missing.

I haven't received husk of the pit yet so even a crux of crota would be worthless for me. I want the hand cannon just for the void damage other than that meh.

The helmet is the only thing I care about tbh. Necrochasm sucks, it's the Eidon Ally with the thrall explosion. The hand cannon is so so, Atheon's epilouge has served me well for the nightfalls so far. Ir yut is also the same as normal mode. Her drop rate needs to be doubled and fang of Ir yut moved to her.

2 RepliesNo the only thing I wanted was the auto rifle so I jumped in a raid at the second check point beat it got the auto and I was done I'll just keep farming normal untill I get the helm and shards I need I also have black hammer from normal so no need to play I will never need the crux cuz nechrocasm sux id choose the vex over it any day

2 RepliesSo far no, just something to do. New HC does 10 more damage than fatebringer and most of the weapons are designed for pvp.

4 RepliesArmour is definitely better in the hard raid. I gave both a helmet from hard and normal and the hard outdoes is by far. Yes there is a bonus to the hard raid.

It can get you agitated but...that feeling when the last sword hit slams down...feels good man.

Ive gotten the scout rifle. Ill do it a couple more weeks if no crux I may stop wasting my time

You gain a key piece to obtain a special exotic. Fang looks very intriguing. A new vision? I hope so

Well fatebringer and voc are my most used primaries in this new raid... Not used a lot because apparently you can run theough this raid without having to kill much ennemies but still when using them I feel like they are better then anything at the vendors in most cases. If bungie has any brains, at least one or two of the raid weapons will be very useful in HOW's raid...

I have 3/4 primaries (missing the hand cannon). Thus far the fang (fully upgraded) is amazing, and the auto and pulse rifles (half upgraded) suck. My only motivation to play now is to get a helm/chest for my 31 warlock and the crux of Crota. My 32 titan has the shader now so no point of playing with him.
