Level 32's Don't do Crota's End, wait until hard mode
You may already me doing this, just a reminder.
Edit: The Hard raid primaries have not been confirmed to only drop at crota.

Thanks again for giving me a heads up. I ended up getting the auto rifle, boots, 3 energy and 2 shards all from one bridge drop on my warlock. With the exception of the deathsinger which seemed really bugged - one time only 2 of us got rewarded (2 shards for my friend, 2 energy for myself), also no class items nor exotics were dropped at deathsinger for us. Not sure if I'm beating a dead horse, my forums are not wanting to load properly for me. Other than that it was [u]totally[/u] worth it to wait till hard. Thanks.

But don't you still get rewards for hard... only half of what you were going to get? Either way... its fine, I still have two more alts to run through...

It'll probably be awhile until I actually run Hard Mode Crota. I have no good weapons for it. Only viable primary is the Mythoclast, but then I can't use my Icebreaker, my only good special. My Heavy will probably be my maxed-out Song of Ir Yut either way, since I have 0 good rocket launchers. Unless its possible to run it with 300 weapons, in which case, Fatebringer, Icebreaker, Song of Ir Yut.

Double drops on Crota in hard is all you really need. Edit: This is not confirmed but based on current crota normal setup you only receive weapons from defeating Crota

People is double reward. I got 2 Fatebringers once by just beating the Templar 1 time. So you have a chance to get 2 primaries (it can be different), by beating or clearing a checkpoint.

I waited. Had people arguing with me about shards trying to get me to go help them... I'd prefer to have all raid weapons after my morning runs thank you. Right or wrong why take the chance?

11 RepliesI dont think you guys are understanding the loot from crota is alot different than the loot on vog. You do normal for special and heavy weapons and you do hard for helmet and primaries its not like vog where you can get the same guns you can from normal there completely separate loot tables idk why that's so hard to see?

I did it just as a practice run, since most of my team has work and school....I shall be attempting a solo run to learn what I can to make it easier on us when we give it a REAL shot.

No because if you do normal raid you get 1 loot but if you didn't do normal raid and go straight to hard you will get 2ble loot
