Bigger fireteams.
I think 3 isn't enough. Or even so you can run up to 6 during nightfalls or strikes adding further difficulty for yet another way to get better gear. And have a set for the raids and nightfall to have matchmaking because not everyone can find people to raid with all the time. It's really annoying to try and do a raid and people quit out and you have to wait forever to find another to join. At least at some point let it matchmake people into it.

It takes 15-20 minutes TOPS for any of the nightfalls with a 3 man fireteam, 12-15 for the groups with everyone using max burn weapons. I don't understand the theory here at all, they are supposed to be the hardest strikes available in game, why would they hand out exotic chances with no difficulty? Plus the matchmaking would be horrific, I'm not gonna deal with people who can't carry their own weight. Make some in game friends and go from there.
