I haven't seen anyone else post this theory, so I thought I'd add it to try and help some people understand. I think Xûr sold Destiny at this particular point in time because hard mode for Crota's End is coming out tomorrow. So they released it the weekend before, knowing that Icebreaker is going to be necessary (or make it much more capable for more casual players) in completing the raid. But what are your thoughts?
